Nice hotel in a spectacular location (and you can park your car as well)

The location is splendid, right across the square from the cathedral (don’t worry, no bells ringing during the night). The hotel and rooms are modest but comfortable.

Burgos is a lovely city. The hotel is perfectly positioned. I had a really enjoyable stay.

Perfect location for exploring the city.

the hotel is nice and situated in front of the cathedral, we had a nice view of the cathedral. the room is simple but good and the breakfast was ok, But if you walk to the hotel it takes a LOT of stairs to climb with the suitcases with no help. and even if you come by taxi steel there are some stairs.... if I knew this in advance I would think twice about taking this hotel.

A wonderful stay.

An excellently positioned yet quiet hotel in the centre of the City. There is a lovely feel to the place, its history and surroundings. The staff were helpful and in February it was very good value.

The beds were a little firm for me!

A tranquil stop in Burgos

With a cathedral view Crisol Mesón del Cid is nestled in the heart of historic Burgos and easy to get to from Rosa Lima Railway Station - just wait for a taxi, they soon arrive in time for departures and arrivals and the fare is €12. Decorated in a traditional fashion in keeping with the city and history the hotel was warm and comfortable and the bedroom very spacious with the perfect view of the cathedral. You can hear a pin drop it was so quiet - perfect for a good night’s sleep. Bathroom was well supplied and toasty considering January morning temperatures were 0-2°C Breakfast was superb with friendly serving staff and vegetable milks and a decent attempt to cater for those with allergens is to be commended. Thank you for taking care of us during our stay - would definitely recommend ????????

Fabulous location overlooking Burgos cathedral.

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Burgos. We had a wonderful breakfast in the hotel restaurant overlooking magnificent Burgos cathedral.

Fine for us, but for less mobile people there are a lot of steps to climb to get to the hotel

Perfect location right next to Burgos Cathedral. Lovely bathroom. Comfy beds. Lovely view of cathedral

We booked a triple room and ended up in a suite which sounds wonderful but was slightly weird - a really nice large double bedroom and another living room area with 3 beds randomly placed around the edges of the room. This meant there were no little bedside tables to safely place glasses etc.

Very Good

We had stayed here once before a decade ago and knew what to expect - though we were this time in the annexe rather than the main hotel. For the old part of town the hotel could not be better located for the main portal of the cathedral was about 100m away and numerous cafés/ restaurants little further. Reception was efficient and our second floor room entirely satisfactory. The hotel's own restaurant - where we had eaten during our last visit - seemed to have closed but that was scarcely a problem and a good breakfast was served in a breakfast room the following morning. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Wonderful

The reservation went very smooth, the staff was extremely friendly and helpfull. The room was marvelous, on the 5th floor with a beautifull view on the cathedral. Great value for money.
